RIGHTEOUSNESS

(n) The quality of being morally right or justifiable.

The movement is righteous and open to all—we all grow closer to God, Source, the Universe, and each other as we pursue righteous path.

The movement will protest, but will not loot nor bring shame upon ourselves.

Research

Knowledge always drowns out ignorance.

We must all be at least minimally versed in the systematic nature of the oppression and corruption in our system.

Quick Resources:

The Case for Reparations: Ta-Nehisi Coates in The Atlantic Magazine

The Breakdown Podcast: Shaun King

We will be dumb and docile no longer.

(List to be expanded on by those who know more than I)

Representation

Massive efforts around voting & voter turn out in both national AND local elections.

Calling/visiting Congresspeople consistently and overwhelmingly is key. They must grow to understand if they do not support this platform, the platform will provide and support their next political opponent—precisely the tactic lobbyists use.

Again, consistency and volume of contact are key.

Partner with [Represent.Us] as their platform to pass the non-partisan Anti-Corruption Act in each state and nationally feeds into and empowers this movement.

Without removing money & the lobbyist revolving door from our system our representatives have no incentive or power to battled the moneyed interests of so few elites.

90% of all legislation passed is at odds with public sentiment/desire. To stop groups like ALEC from writing laws perpetuating mass incarceration & promoting police violence or their new project GPS/Parole system—the playing field must be leveled.

This is the first step in solving most of the other issues plaguing us as well: climate change, our broken education system, etc…. name an issue and money in our political system is likely at its core.

Reparations, Reform, and Reorganization

The Goal.

There can be no true movement forward or healing without this as the core issue.

As a nation, we must put our money where our mouths are. Beside being righteous, reparations are acknowledgment. Not only of our distant past, but of recent and current injustices and, as we all know, acknowledgment is the first step to recovery.

False narratives about slavery, the Civil War, Red-lining, or being on equal footing and just needing to “try harder” or “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” withers on the vine of reparations.

House Resolution 40 must be passed right now to allow for the study of reparations followed a data-driven National Reparations Act—both including the same for indigenous people who’s movements will also partner in this cause.

This will be the most definitive step in moving into a just future.

Police and Judicial reform: starting with all police forces being overseen by a diverse, empowered citizen council and specific measures around local and state DAs as laid out in @shaunking’s & his organizations plan.

All supported political candidates must also fight actively to restore the right to reorganize via unions. The dismantling of unions is deliberate and intentional in unbalancing our system.

Redemption

Specifically, but not limited to Joe Biden.

If Mr. Biden and any other political leader is truly sorry for the effects past support of the 1994 Crime Bill or other “tough on crime” initiatives, then they too must put their money where their mouths are and support this platform as their #1 issue—this is put up or shut up time.

Mr. Biden is only the presumptive nominee and can still be challenged and support moved to another candidate who will make this the centerpiece of their campaign.

Redistribution

This is where we non-violently take back control—control the purse strings.

The great redistribution of wealth in 2008, caused by the greed of the top 1% of 1% fleeced all Americans—it’s time to start redistributing the other way.

Historically, this is alway an inevitable step or an inherently imperfect capitalist system: https://youtu.be/PHe0bXAIuk0

We will vote with our wallets. As we can see with COVID, bringing the economy to a halt is the most powerful tool we have. It worked in South Africa with Coke….

For any company, corporation, bank, etc. who does not support, contribute to, and promote this movement, or if they are engaged in support of any platform antithetical, the movement will no longer support them with their patronage.

Examples:

Chase Bank, Wells Fargo, CitiBank, etc. will adhere to this position or we will systematically move our bank accounts to local actively supportive Credit Unions who will love the influx of cash and who support local communities much more actively anyway.

While Wal-Mart has officially left groups like ALEC due to bad PR, the Walton family still contributes. Until they adhere to this position we will shop elsewhere.

The newly well-funded Credit Unions alongside conscious investors & banks—think Tom Steyer—will fund new POC-owned grocery stores who provide an alternative to Wal-Mart, etc.

Many of these companies are built upon and live off the backs of their employees, then use their profits to actively undermine and oppress them. They will now use some of those profits to help fund reparations.

We will henceforth be in a quid-pro-quo relationship with every politician and every company—support is conditional and impermanent.

Reconciliation & Recruitment

To the people outside this movement, middle/rural America.

This fight is for you too. We’ve been suckered into believing we are each others enemies, but the real enemy—and facilitator of this narrative—are the top 1%.

Building a coalition between middle America, indigenous people’s, and this movement is essential.

The Jeffery Epstein’s of the world are who we are all supporting by fighting each other. These morally bankrupt hedge-fund managers, real-estate conglomerates, etc. pit us against each other via corrupt/propaganda media outlets when in actuality the system is treating most white, blue-collar Americans like they are inconsequential and invisible, too.

Examples:

Coal miners, suffering black lung disease and with limited safety, no options, benefits or support: thank you for powering America. Let’s get you out of those hell-holes and onto Wind Turbines and solar fields—your well being is not mutually exclusive with a great economy and a healthy planet.

Oil-field workers: get out of those nasty frack tanks and build the green energy economy.

As we unite in the states, we will unite with movements in Hong Kong, Syria, the Middle East, etc. in solidarity as they have been showing during this uprising.

Reconstruction

We’ve allowed ourselves to believe this is the only system—that’s a lie.

We now have the mass and momentum to affect change if we are willing to risk it all for it. This system has brought us to the point of calamity and demise—it’s time is done.

If we need to burn parts of it down, let it burn.

We will speak softly but carry a big stick. Dr. King was the soft spoken, Malcolm X was the big stick.

The threat of mutually assured destruction is powerful—it held off World War 3, it will work here.

Will it be hard? Of course; comfort and complacency are our jailor and warden, but our ancestors fought harder fights for survival and lived with less—if we need to as well; bring it.
